Real Oviedo and Alebia Analytics have reached a collaboration agreement under which the Asturian startup will provide its analytical consulting services to the sporting directorate team of the club from Oviedo. Alebia will offer a solution under its usual Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model. In this way, the analysts in the technical department will have a tailor-made scouting product in constant evolution and development, on which both teams will work hand in hand at all times.
The team has been working for a few weeks on customising the tool. From this application, the analysts will have at their disposal advanced statistics on more than 50,000 players from the world market. In addition, the platform will be accompanied by other applications for analysing and exploring teams and leagues.
The aim of this agreement is to give the Asturian side’s sporting directorate tools that help it cut the time spent on the scouting process, with contextualised, advanced and objective information to make better decisions and so reduce the risk in the process.
